Stephanie + Dominic: Nerdy Engagement Photographer in Cherry Hill, NJ

When Stephanie reached out about an engagement session and let me know she wanted to do it at the place her and Dominic had their first date, I thought “Awww that is adorable”!

Then, I found out their first date was at The Big Event in Cherry Hill, NJ…an arcade and a bowling alley?! HECK YES!

We coordinated a time that worked where there would be minimal crowds and I’m so happy we did. We got some AMAZING shots and we got to have some fun while doing so.

How They Met (As Told By Stephanie)

We met on Bumble; we had both been single for a bit. I had downloaded the app to show my friend how to use it since she was recently single. I ended up keeping it for a bit and matched with Dominic a few days later. I loved his genuine smile and handsome face; he loves my bright brown eyes, smile and fun personality. Our first date was October 12, 2018 at the bowling alley and arcade which is also where and when we first met.

When we were walking around the arcade, they were talking to me about Mario Kart and how that was the game they played on their first date. Sadly the game was no longer at the arcade (sad face), but we did find Space Invaders and they had a friendly showdown.

Before we headed over to the bowling side of the complex, Stephanie told me they had brought their Nintendo Switches with them. They both took them out and played for a little bit. There was also a brief visit with Isabelle in Animal Crossing.

Time to bowl! We headed into the bowling alley and we got some fun shots of Dominic coaching Stephanie how to bowl and some really cute quality time shots.

Stephanie likes to write & Dominic likes to draw, so we also incorporated that into the shoot.
