I was SO hyped for Brittney & Taylor’s engagement session. Before getting to the point of their engagement session, we talked back and forther over email and then did a call over Zoom. While we did talk about the wedding, a lot of our talk was around cosplay photography (which Tyler & myself also do), convention and nerdy adventures, and Sword Art Online. During that conversation, I knew I had a found a really special & awesome couple.

Brittney & Tyler spend part of their free time with their horses, so when they asked me about doing the session and incorporating their horses you knew I was down!

Before we started the session, I got a chance to get comfortable with their horses, Little Dude and Leggaci. These horses are so sweet and were so fun to watch run around the field and give treats to. I’m so happy I was able to meet them, and of course Brittney & Tyler too 😉.

We started off hanging out by hay bales that Tyler was awesome enough to get set up and this adorable couple chilled with the horses.

After the horses got to snack on some hay, Brittney and Tyler took the horses for a stroll and had some fun. Kudos to them for braving the cold for these shots, but they were so worth it!

I love the story behind Brittney’s rings, so I’m sharing as well “I always knew since we first met that it was a matter of “when will we marry”, never “will we ever marry”. It was a matter of time for us, even if life held us apart for some time. It is a black band with a wolf and fox facing each other, with a mountain range and soaring eagle in the background. I was so shocked and happy! Both rings represent us and our relationship, including our favorite animals (mine is the wolf, his is the fox) and the moon and stars in the night sky. We have a long history together!”
